Analytical Modelling of Transient Phenomena in PWM Control Circuits
نویسنده
چکیده
The paper brings a new mathematical model for analysis of circuits containing periodically operated switches. The model uses the Laplace and modified Z transform (mixed p-z approach). This approach enables us to determine the steady-state and transient components of the load current in relatively simple and lucid form. The solution is a closed-form and is not dependent on the number of the pulses of the PWM pattern. Key-Words:-Analytical model, transient phenomena, PWM control, electrical circuits

A MEMS Capacitive Microphone Modelling for Integrated Circuits
In this paper, a model for MEMS capacitive microphone is presented for integrated circuits. The microphone has a diaphragm thickness of 1 μm, 0.5 × 0.5 mm2 dimension, and an air gap of 1.0 μm. Using the analytical and simulation results, the important features of MEMS capacitive microphone such as pull-in voltage and sensitivity are obtained 3.8v and 6.916 mV/Pa, respectively while there is no...

متن کاملClosed-Form Analytical Equations to Transient Analysis of Bang-Bang Phase-Locked Loops
Due to the nonlinear nature of the Bang-Bang phase-locked loops (BBPLLs), its transient analysis is very difficult. In this paper, new equations are proposed for expression of transient behavior of the second order BBPLLs to phase step input. This approach gives new insights into the transient behavior of BBPLLs. Approximating transient response to reasonable specific waveform the loop tran...
متن کاملHigh frequency Modelling of Cables in PWM Motor Drives by Using Polynomial Functions based Parameters
The high frequency behaviour of the cables in pulse width modulation (PWM) motor drives is of a crucial importance in the analysis of transient overvoltages and conducted electromagnetic interference (EMI) propagation, both common and differential mode. In order to give a tool for simulation of the above cited phenomena, a new method for high frequency cable modelling is proposed in this paper....
متن کاملApplication of Green’s functions for analysis of transient thermal states in electronic circuits
This paper presents an approach to the modelling of transient thermal states in electronic circuits using an analytical solution of the heat equation. Fully three-dimensional analytical time dependent solutions are determined with the help of Green’s functions. The solution method is illustrated in detail on a practical example, where the results of transient thermal simulations of a real hybri...
